I know many acrylic craft paints also say they’re safe for use on glass, but I’ve always used gloss enamel paints. On their website they say, “Made from the purest ingredients, Apple Barrel Colors provide premium performance on wood, Styrofoam, paper mache, tin, terra cotta, wood and any porous surface.” They do have a GLOSS version of their paint which they say is safe for glass as well as indoor and outdoor use.įor the wine glasses, look specifically for gloss enamel paint. I just Googled it and it appears that Apple Barrel is a brand made by Plaid Crafts. I haven’t ever used Apple Barrel paints and maybe they work just fine for glassware that you’re not using all the time, like if something was going to be displayed on a shelf. Use painter’s tape to attach your design to the inside of the wine glass.
